This Storm too will pass

This storm too will pass. Repeat again. This storm too will pass. One more time. This storm too will pass. Yes, in due time.

This life is but deception…from surah Al Baqarah…a bitter pill, a deep realization. Makes my heart wrench every time I read these lines.

Life…is indeed a storm…sometimes multiple storms…and sometimes an eerie silence before another storm. But every storm ends…and that is when we can truly appreciate everything we have, everything we tookfor granted.

Dear friends and followers…if you have a roof over your head, Alhamdulillaah…if you had food today, Alhamdulillaah…if you had pain free teeth to chew that food today, Alhamdulillaah…if you had fingers to grasp that food with, Alhamdulillaah…if you had your sight and your hearing today, Alhamdulillaah…many people don’t even have these things we take for granted.

Yes, this storm will pass…your sunshine is coming…but for now, to get you through…think of all the small things that can make you say, Alhamdulillaah.

May Allah Azzawajal grant you all strength, wisdom and patience to get through all your storms. Aameen.

Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children – like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion.
