The Believer and the Corrupt
We all sin, whether it is big or little but how many of us regret doing it and how many of us repent?
We should strive to improve ourselves in the time that we have in this world. Time is limited, very limited, and death is something that comes without warning. So we should strive to repent as soon as we can and refrain from repeating the bad deeds. Yes as humans we can be weak and forgetful and yes we would most likely sin again but what will save us is repent to Almighty Allah and being sincere in it.

Al-Harith bin Suwaid said:
“Abdullah [bin Mas’ud] narrated two Ahadith to us, one of them from himself and the other from the Prophet (ﷺ). ‘Abdullah said: ‘The believer sees his sins as if he was at the base of a mountain, fearing that it was about to fall upon him. The wicked person sees his sins as if (they are) flies are hitting his nose” he said: “Like this” – motioning with his hand – “to get them to fly away.”

The Believer will always see his sins as if it is his destruction and rush for repenting and doing good. While the corrupt and wicked person will keep repeating the bad deeds and increasing in it without any regret as if they have a pass to enter Jannah for free.
Let us be like true Believers and have Taqwa (fear of Allah) and strive to do good and refrain from evil and always keeping in mind that just like Jannah (Paradise) is True, Hellfire is True as well.
