BE STRANGER OR A TRAVELER

Bismillah
You don’t know how strong you are, until you’re being tested, and being strong is the only option you have.

In the journey of becoming a better Muslim, sometimes the road gets tough and sometimes your own self will say no to doing the right thing.
The key is to learn from your mistakes as mistakes can make you a better person, and the proper attitude we should have in the world is that we are on a journey to Allah. This life is only a temporary stop toward the final destination of eternity.

Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
‎كُنْ فِي الدُّنْيَا كَأَنَّكَ غَرِيبٌ أَوْ عَابِرُ سَبِيلٍ
Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler along a path Sahih Bukhari 6053, Grade: Sahih

I complain to Allah because I know He listens. I complain to Allah because I want Him to do something. And because I know He can and will do something to ease my pain. On tough days, talk to Him. Let Him know everything that is going on in your heart, mind and soul.

There’s a silver lining to every pain that you’re feeling. The pain of rejection, the pain of loss, the pain of fear, the pain of betrayal, the pain of separation. And the list goes on. Your pain gives you priceless lessons that are actually useful for you. The lessons that pain brings you, are truly precious. Pain and every life lessons are Allah’s way to teach us how to cope and better prepare ourselves with confidence. The more challenges we face and overcome in life, the stronger we will be mentally and emotionally. And when we successfully overcome an adversity or survive a risk, our experiences in dealing with adversity will prepare us to face new ones better than if we don’t experience challenges in life. When we’re better prepared, we will handle adversity a lot better than if we aren’t prepared. The individual person is responsible for living his own life and for ‘finding himself.’ If he persists in shifting his responsibility to somebody else, he fails to find out the meaning of his own existence.

The person who endured the most hardship for the sake of Allah will soon forget all of his pain and suffering after he is dipped into Paradise only for a moment. In contrast, the person who had the most pleasure in the world for the sake of himself will soon forget all of his happiness after he is dipped into Hellfire for only a moment. The reality is that the Hereafter is the true life and this world is only a means to prepare us for this true life. Allah has told us about the people who will realize on the Day of Resurrection that the Hereafter is the true life, and they will be filled with remorse because they did not perform any good deeds for their eternal life.

Allah said:
‎يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِي
He will say: O woe to me, I wish I had sent good ahead for my life. Qur’an 89:24

The prophets peace be upon them and the highest of companions, were being tested far greater than us. Despite the great hardships, they did not falter in their faith and they trusted that these tests are what increased their status in God’s eyes. They did not pray for the hardship to go away, they did not pray for the tests to stop. But rather, they pray for higher ranks in paradise. They pray for stronger faith and trust in God. They pray for ridha and acceptance.

Dear fighters. Dear strong hearts, you’re not alone. He sees and hears everything. Allow Allah to hold you through your toughest times. God chose you to go through these tests. He trusts that you will get through them when He puts you in them. I know it’s easier said than done, especially when I have no clue what is going on in your life. I don’t feel what you feel when pain and storm come crawling to you everyday. I am not the person who feels the exhaustion that you feel. I’m simply here to remind you that God has chosen you. We should behave in this world with the knowledge that it will one day come to an end. We should ask Allah for goodness and comfort along our journey, but we must keep in mind that the final destination is the grave and the Day of Resurrection. We should do our best in this life to perform many good deeds in hope that Allah will reward us with bliss in Paradise forever.
Remember this the next time you feel pain in you. May Allah the Merciful heal you and your love ones from any form of pain and hurt.

This worldly life is nothing but diversion and amusement. Verily, the home of the Hereafter is the true life if only they knew. Qur’an 29:64

We need your guidance Ya Rabb. Please help us bear everything with patience.Ya Allah, lead us to more opportunities to do good and seeking Your Pleasure Ya Allah, protect our hearts from being attached to something that will not benefit us in our Akhirah
Aameen Ya Rabbal Alameen
